Setting Up An E-Mail Client Filter
In Netscape Communicator
1. Open the Messenger Inbox.
2. Under the 'Edit' menu, select 'Message Filters..."
3. Press the 'New' button.
4. Name the filter.
5. Set the filter action to the following: If an incoming message Matches All Of The Following: to or CC doesn't contain [your e-mail suffix, e.g. @aol.com] Then Move to Folder Trash, or if you so choose, you can make a folder called Junk Mail.
In Eudora
1. Under the 'Special' menu, select 'Filters.'
2. Press the 'New' button.
3. Set the Match to read: Incoming header To: does not contain [your e-mail suffix, e.g. @aol.com].
4. Set the Actions to read: Transfer To Trash or desired location.
